The Russian smartphone market plummeted in 2025: according to various estimates, sales fell by 19–25% year-on-year. This follows from the data of the distributor Fplus and “M. Video”, writes “Vedomosti”. In total, over the year, 24.2 million devices were sold in Russia for a total amount of 588 billion rubles, compared to 29.8 million gadgets for 720 billion rubles in 2024.
The median price of a smartphone was 25,309 rubles, which is 4% lower than last year’s level, according to data from the “OFD Platform”. According to Fplus statistics, the leader in the number of devices sold in the Russian market in 2025 was the Chinese Xiaomi with a 22% market share, second place was taken by Samsung, and third place was shared by Tecno and Realme. In terms of money, the top three included Apple, Samsung, and Xiaomi (The Moscow Times).
