The United States hopes to continue cooperation with Ukraine, as well as joint production in the defense sector.
As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by U.S. Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt at a meeting with Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv and Trade Representative of Ukraine Natalia Mykolska, the Ministry informed in its Twitter.
The Ambassador said that the Ministry of economic development and trade of Ukraine is an important partner for his country, and that the U.S. hopes to continue cooperation and joint production in the defense sector for strategic and commercial purposes.
Earlier, former U.S. Ambassador in Ukraine Steven Pifer announced that the U.S. could provide Ukraine with light weapons for more efficient confrontation with Russia in the Donbas. (en.censor.net)
